One of the biggest workout mistakes?
Changing your workouts too often… or never changing them at all.
Research shows people stick with exercise longer when there’s some variety. But constantly switching routines can stall progress.
The balance is simple:
• Strength training a few days per week
• Walking or cardio on other days
• Some mobility work
• Short workouts when you’re busy
Consistency matters more than perfection. Even 10–20 minutes of movement beats doing nothing.
Variety keeps things interesting.
Repetition is what drives results.
The best program is the one you’ll actually stick with. 💪

Why Huge Fitness Goals Can Backfire
One of the biggest reasons a lot of New Year fitness plans fall apart isn’t motivation — it’s starting too big.
Most people set goals like:
“I’m going to work out 5–6 days a week.”
That sounds great… until life happens.
When the goal is rigid, missing even one workout feels like failure. Confidence drops, and momentum disappears.
Research in behavior change shows that habits stick when the barrier to entry is low.
That means:
• Shorter workouts
• Flexible timing
• Progress measured by doing the work — not perfection
Big goals still matter.
But they only work when they’re built on small, repeatable wins first.
Imperfect consistency ALWAYS beats perfect plans. But if you want a plan that "WORX" feel free to reach out!

Why Most New Year Fitness Goals Fade (And What I’m Sharing Next)
Every January, motivation is high.
Plans are made.
Schedules are set.
This year feels different.
And then February shows up… and life gets busy.
If you’ve ever wondered why your workouts tend to fade a few weeks into the year, here’s the truth:
It’s not a lack of discipline.
It’s failure by design.
Most fitness plans rely on motivation and willpower to do all the heavy lifting — and research shows that simply doesn’t work long term.
I just published a new blog breaking down 4 science-backed ways to stick with your workouts past the New Year surge — strategies I’ve seen work consistently over 17 years of coaching.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing one of these ideas at a time:
✔ Why starting smaller actually leads to better results
✔ Why identity matters more than motivation
✔ How to use variety without sabotaging progress
✔ How to plan for the slump before it happens
If staying consistent has been a struggle in the past, this might change how you think about fitness altogether.

We’re officially in the “one month left” season — holidays, busy schedules, and that little voice reminding you that 2026 is almost here.
But this year’s trend is different: people aren’t waiting for January. They’re locking in small, sustainable habits now.
Here’s what matters most this time of year:
🔥 1. Lock in your habits early
Short, consistent workouts. More steps. Conscious eating. Routines > resolutions.
Imperfect action beats the perfect plan you never start.
💪 2. Focus on body composition, not just weight loss
Strength training = better joints, fewer aches, faster recovery, real change.
Balance is key — not extremes.
🎯 3. Align your actions with your goals
Hard workouts + cutting carbs isn’t a strategy.
Real nutrition + aligned training is.
🧠 4. Prioritize your mental health
Movement reduces stress, lowers burnout, and clears your head.
Sometimes a simple walk is the win you need to get through the day.
🤝 5. Community creates consistency
At Body Worx, you’re not a membership. You’re a person with a plan built just for you — with support every step of the way.
Finish 2025 off strong!

The Power of 1% at Work- 13 days isn't just 13%
Did you know that if you improve by 1% every day, the results don't just add up, they compound! After 13 days, you’re not 13% better — you’re actually about 13.8% better. After 30 days you would be at 34.8% and at 70 days you actually achieve 100%.
💪 1% more effort in your workouts each day → big gains (or losses!) in the gym
🧠 1% more focus on a new skill → you get better AND want to do it more
💭 1% more self-awareness and better habits → real mindset shifts over time.
We love to help people start their 1% fitness journey, one day at a time! It's easier than you might think! Feel free to reach out!

You can apply the 1% Rule to your goals TODAY. It just takes consistency!
Big goals usually aren't that easy.
Just like a seed, your goal needs time, care, and consistency to grow. Coincidentally, you nurture both the same way!
1. Prepare the soil.
2. Water it daily.
3. Let the sunlight in.
4. Pull the weeds that get in the way.
With your consistency and perhaps a little bit of help, your goals will bloom in time. We're happy to assist!

Big Goals are Supposed to be HardWhen we talk about big goals, we’re not talking about the everyday tasks you check off your to-do list. We’re talking about the ones that make you nervous. The ones that give you butterflies. The ones that, if you’re honest, feel a little scary. For some, that ...
