Iâve honestly been without words the last few days, overwhelmed with sadness, grief, and confusion after the election.
Feeling like this isnât real and Iâm not supposed to be here, hopeless and unsure if what the future holds.
In the aftermath all I could think was whatâs the point? And where do we go from here?
Then I was struck with the realization that the work I do now is more important than ever.
At a time where 72 million people decided a con artist r*pist would make a better president than an overqualified woman, and women all over the country now face losing the rights that our ancestors fought so hard forâŚ
We have to become empowered.
We can take our fear, and our anger, and turn it into love and care for ourselves.
We have to prioritize our own health and well-being.
We can reject diet culture, reject a culture that keeps us sick and weak, and choose radical self love and self compassion.
We can learn to connect to and care for our bodies, and heal ourselves naturally.
And by taking this power back for ourselves, we can begin to uplift our sisters, friends, partners, mothers, daughters, and our communities.
And reclaim our energy to fight the good fight. I am so lucky I get to help women become empowered by their health and wellness, and take back their power.

What are my values and beliefs as a coach?
I believe that every person is capable of making positive changes for themselves.
I believe that change only happens when we change our beliefs about ourselves.
If we believe that we are worthy and deserving of taking care of ourselves, that our actions begin to demonstrate that.
I believe that my job as a coach is to help people establish realistic goals, create a plan that will allow them to achieve those goals, and identify and overcome any limiting beliefs or challenges that stand in the way, all while holding the individual accountable.
I believe that a good coach sees their clients as a whole personâ not as a set of symptoms or numbers.
I value looking beyond just exercise & nutrition, but health as a wholeâ both physical & mental.
I believe that a good coach doesnât tell you what to do, but rather guides you to come to a solution for yourself.
I value anti-diet nutrition coaching.
I believe in viewing exercise as a privilege rather than a punishment.
I see taking care of yourself as something you get to do, rather than something you should do.
