We got the new Surly Sorceress out on the trail today, and it RIPS. This thing is a monster on the trail; it eats up chunky singletrack and stays planted when things get rough without dragging on the climbs. It embodies classic Surly—steel, capable, and ready for long days.

Come by the shop to pick up your brand new . Kendama is a Japanese skill toy that originated in the 17th Century. It’s a fun way to pass the time while you’re waiting for that one person who is always late to the group ride or whenever you’re not out riding. Bonus points if you can play while riding.

It might be cold outside, but these fresh gloves from will keep your hands as warm as you want them. The Ridge Glove is made of pre-treated leather and is ready to keep your hands warm and dry. The Liner Glove can be used underneath a heavier glove for extra warmth, but it is also perfect for those Denver winter days where a light layer will suffice. Swing by the shop between noon and 6 any day to pick yours up.

Meet Ricky, one of the owners of Z Cycle and his hand built “Younger Brother” frame.

Rick built this frame back in 2014 at UBI (United Bicycle Institute) based off of an old Nishiki he used to ride. It’s been on bike tours down the Oregon coast and across Hawaii. These days, it’s settled in as his main commuter. It was black originally, but you can see a few raw spaces where he’s had to move a couple things around.

When Rick is not at the shop he’s teaching earth science in Thornton and running the school’s screen printing lab.

We sold the shop Omnium recently, we’re a little sad it’s gone, but we’re happy this kid will be getting around in style.

Come thru the shop, we have bikes of all types.

Open 12-6pm daily.

We closed the shop for 2 days recently and the crew went to Buffalo Creek, CO to ride bikes and camp.

We hung out, made food together and generally recharged for the upcoming season.

As this season ends and the next one begins we’re now offering ski and snowboard services, waxing, edging and base repairs. Now is also a great time to bring your bike in for a tune up so it’s ready for you come springtime.

New Bike Day

This sick red and black Motiv Rogue hardtail rolled out of the shop the other day to a happy new owner. The matching red tires and a nice rear rack give it even more character.

Keep an eye out for this beauty cruising around Denver.

Community Repair Night last night was great, thanks to everyone who came by.

JD came through looking to learn more about generally tuning up a bike, so Sam pulled a used bike we had so he could run through installing new brake pads, checking the chain for wear, properly applying chain lubricant and a general safety check with him.

Peter brought in a bike and rear rack he had and wanted to install. Lucas talked through the process and ensured Peter had all the parts and knowledge he needed to safely install the rack without damaging his bike.
