For Cadence Floyd, remembering her skating community has meant finding ways to keep showing up for it.

After Flight 5342, she promoted an ice-skate necklace fundraiser supporting families who lost loved ones and joined a tribute skate at the World Championships in Boston. She also shared her hope for a National Day of Remembrance during a visit to Washington.

Her Positive Impact reflects a deeply personal commitment: helping others remember the people behind the names and supporting those carrying their loss. Know a student-athlete making a Positive Impact? Nominate them at the link in our bio.

Taking a break doesn’t mean you care any less.

That’s a lesson Dixie Bitner is carrying forward from high school athletics. In this edition of On the Clock, Dixie talks about recognizing when to step back and making room for mental health, too.
