How should I glaze her?
Based this piece off of the phrases “watch your back” and “all eyes on me”. I got to the final step of finishing the eyeballs on the back and thought about how such a cool concept deserved more detail. So I now have a larger version in the works that is about half life-size and bound to be eye catching if you know what I mean.

Proof of concept: The Bookshelf Babes. Excited to kick off next year with a little collection of little ladies. This blue-haired spitfire is my “artist proof” for a handful of personalities I’ll be cooking up come January. There are just so many cool characters in the world, I want to create them all, and I want ‘em to live on someone’s bookshelf. If anything is going to inspire my art it’s gonna be women, cause, women. 😉

In true fashion of the “Mother Nature” theme we got going on here, my mama has the first production piece from the collection of head planters I am making. She could not have picked a better plant for it.
I’ll have a handful of these planters available on Etsy in a few weeks. If you’ve been waiting, thanks for being patient with me on this! I can’t wait to see what kinda plants everyone else chooses. 😌🌱
