KRD | Remembering KRD in China in 2008 - https://mailchi.mp/62687e61c01f/krd-krd-in-china-in-2008 Eighteen years ago today we landed in Beijing! Kim Robards Dance remembers 08-08-08 kicking off our tour to China coinciding with the Olympics! KRD was one of only two dance companies from the United States and Kim was the only American female choreographer to be presented at The Beijing Dance Festival coinciding with the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, performing at The Coca Cola Olympic Stage and the Nines Theater. Kim taught Modern Dance Master Classes at the Post-SARS Studio under the watchful eye of a Red Guard soldier. We invite filmmakers, choreographers, and movement artists from around the world to submit innovative films that celebrate dance, movement, culture, identity, and storytelling.
