It is with a heavy 💔 heart that we are telling you we have lost a one of a kind. Dave was one of our favorite people , we didn’t start off on the best “feet” but Dave , Dana and I grew to truly love each other , well Dana and I already loved each other but Dave was something else! Anyone who knew Dave knows what this means 😊
Dave had become a “staple” in our lives throughout the summers over the last 17 years. As we got to know him we enjoyed so many , often too many laughs with him ,, Dave was , the Mayor , Security and just a great guy .. Rest peacefully Dave you ol’ son of a gun! We are going to miss you something awful 💔 our hearts go out to Bonnie, Dave , Sherrie and his whole family 😞

Why we do what we do!! It is always a pleasure to have many great people as our guests season after season!

[08/25/20]   As you may have noticed we have been having some issues with the WiFi for a few weeks , our antennas somehow had their names wiped from the system .. we also had 2 antennas “fry” . It is till not 100% fixed and we had to create a new password but the network is still the same and we added a router so hopefully when the 2 antennas are replaced it will give off a stronger signal

[08/03/20]   As per the NYS DEC..Lily pad existence in a pond ( such as ours...shallow )/is crucial for the well being of the many life forms beneath its surface water...this includes fish..

We are trying/ through trial and error/ to leave about 30% cover as it provides much needed oxygen/ shade/ for the healthy wildlife our pond enjoys/ this also includes our current healthy bass population...one that has come back from a ‘winter kill’ 6 years prior/that now produce bass @ 5pound weight and better...

Evidence of its rebounded health is the abundance of frog life this pond enjoys...

So the next time one wants to play Marine biologist/ and question the procedure we are trying to accomplish/ instead of attacking our reputation and our intended goals...ask us first...we will be more than happy to give you the heads up.

Being a neophyte on many subjects pertaining to the mechanics of a park/ an RV /or in this case the ecological well being of a pond ( referring to the Lilly pads as ‘ WEEDS 🤣 ) is not only untrue/ but embarrassing to the consignor/ consignors of such info...

[05/20/20]   Schools closed , Fishing’s open!! Great catch by our Happy Camper Griffin! 4 lbs. 11 oz. Season 2020 @ Guestward Ho off to a great start!

As per NY State & Broome County Department of Health

[04/29/20]   This morning, the County Executive made a decision on the local level that Campgrounds in Broome County may open on Friday, May 1, 2020.

There will be some amended procedural implementations that will be forth coming from BCBOH

Our open date is as always/May 15 2020
