One of the fundraisers for the program is a basket raffle during the Octoberfest in Deposit on Oct 11.

If anyone wants to donate a whole basket, knows a business willing to, or wants to group together to build a couple, it would be really helpful!

In an attempt to continue to provide our youth girls an opportunity to play youth field hockey, I’m formerly posting on our page that I will be resigning as Director at the end of next season (October 2027). If you are interested in stepping into that role, it would be wonderful to have you be a co-director next season and we can go over everything the position entails.

Everyone that has registered for the youth field hockey season has been loaded into their respective Gamechanger teams!!

If you haven’t seen the email from gamechanger stating you’ve been sent a request to join a team and you played last year, please log back into your gamechanger app. If you are new to the program and didn’t see the email, please check your junk mail, download the app and create an account with the email your provided at sign ups.

Practices start tomorrow 9/1- schedules for each age group are listed in game changer. Game schedule for the season has also been loaded.

What size stick should my daughter have? When standing with stick straight against outside of her leg, the top of the stick should come to her hip bone. If it’s too long, it will jab her in the stomach. If it’s too short, it will cause more pain bending over trying to play.

The link takes you to an example of a stick package for a reasonable price.

Mouth guards are cheapest at Walmart. Dick’s has shock absorbing concussion mouth guards for +$20. In my opinion, these types of mouth guards are not necessary at this level of play but please purchase what makes you most comfortable for your daughter.

Everything a first-time field hockey player needs to get started. This bundle includes a TK wood stick, shin guards, a ball, and a mouthguard.

2026 Field Hockey Registration is now open!!!
Please complete the JotForm link to sign up! Any girl entering Kindergarten thru 6th grade is welcome to participate. Each athlete must have their own field hockey stick, ball, mouth guard, and shin guards. Practices start the week of August 31, 2026.
