DeRidder High School Football

We had a great spring and wanted to thank everyone who came out and supported us as we played Northwest this past Monday!

The field construction is progressing nicely as the contractors are beginning track demolition (pictured below).

As for the DHS Dragons football team, we head into our next very important phase on June 1st: summer workouts. One step closer to football season!

Join us for our spring scrimmage today against Northwest at Donald Gardner Stadium in Opelousas! The game will be at 6:00pm and will include varsity and jv segments. Tickets are $7 cashless at the gate. The stadium enforces a clear bag policy.

Our Bench-A-Thon is tomorrow in the DHS auditorium from 8:30am-9:30am! Family members are welcome to come watch, just check in at the front office.

It’s been one month since our first post about the new turf installation. Workers have been steady at it, and we’re looking forward to seeing the final product.

Changes are happening at Cecil Doyle Memorial Stadium! Contractors have begun preparing our field to be turfed. We are very excited over the improvements we are receiving and we can’t wait for next season!
