Capital City Roots WFC is building its first-ever women’s team, and we’re looking for players with the grind, the discipline, and the hunger to improve and compete.

This is WPSL Division II. No shortcuts. No playoffs. We’re starting at the bottom on purpose.
Win the season → move to Division I in 2027.
Win again → playoffs.
Build a name for yourself and for Des Moines along the way.

We’re proud to officially launch Capital City Roots WFC, the women’s side of the Roots family, competing in WPSL Division II and based right here in Des Moines, Iowa.
