That's a wrap on a beautiful weekend of flying at the LEO Lyon Events Organization Lyon Twp Kite Festival presented by Kites and Fun Things ❤️
We can't thank the organization, volunteers, sponsors and staff enough for another incredible year of flying on the hill. This is such a great group of flyers we have in the Detroit area. Truly kite family! And let's not forget to thank the weather gods for giving us ample sunshine and mediocre winds.
Cheers to all for putting on a wonderful show for the few thousand each day. Let's do it again next year!

After party is always the best wind and we were pumping the jams with our new team speaker. We're quickly becoming prepared as a full service team. We now come equipped with shade, stage lights for night flys, our own sound system and some damn good flying ❤️🔉🪁

We couldn't be out done by Holland Kite Team and their custom JBL. We're bringing the bumps with this massive field speaker for training days at the beach. Let's party! 🥳

The 17th Annual International Kite Festival returns to James Atchison Memorial Park in Lyon Township on June 6th and 7th for a weekend filled with giant kites, live entertainment, family activities, shopping, food vendors, and unforgettable memories.

Bring the family, enjoy the fresh air, and experience the skies filled with incredible colors and creations from talented kite flyers from around the world.

The Kite Festival at Grand Haven
This is a fun run just as the wind started to soften but the Kite Forge Djinn MV held strong.

We had an absolute blast in Grand Haven Michigan this weekend. The weather was great the crowd piled into town. The festival shirts didn't stand a chance against the estimated 20,000 that attended the festival just on Saturday.
We can't thank the organizers, volunteers and all the flyers enough for letting us in on all the fun. Without you, none of this is possible. Thanks for helping spread the joy of kites 🪁
