Today's tomorrow, today! Been getting some seeds from our personal sweet baby of heat and flavor, purple pain peppers. This is year 5 growing them after an accidental cross. Two distinct types have developed. A jalapeno dominate type 1, and purple ufo type 2. Surprise, suprise...we have a couple of plants showing new traits. A ghost type 1, and a very habanero shaped type 2. Every year is an adventure with open pollination, you just have to pay close attention.

Day 2: Friday Boogaloo. All set up at the the Car & Bike Show. There are a ton of cool vehicles and vendors, including yours truly. Come get my hottest sauce to day before it runs out (less than 12 remain). I also have 8 other bad mammajammas for your flavor needs. Everything in the garden is really starting to pop. It all takes time, and so much work. Just like our sauces, fermented for months to bring the favors to their peak. Gonna be a few places this weekend. The Charter Township of Port Huron Farmers Market on Thursday. Friday, I will be at the Car & Bike Show (Old KMART in Port Huron from 3pm to 9pm). Saturday is Kenockee CarFest in Ruby. Sunday is St. Clair Shores Parks and Recreation Market at 9mile and Greater Mack. Busy, busy, busy. See you soon!
