Banter like this perfectly sums up just the poor, lazy, and just embarrassing attempts at banter from USL SGs as a whole. Did they even watch 8 Mile before throwing this slop together? Because if they did they’d know their attempt at a joke or a dunk here makes zero sense. Seriously you could’ve thrown Alexi’s dumb face while wearing his DCFC shirt over Cheddar Bob’s. At least that would’ve made a little more sense since that picture is out there and he did attend Cranbrook.

Perhaps we’re giving the BYB a little too much credit here though. This is the same group that simps for Peter Wilt and goes soft on MLS when they start lurking around Indy so it should be expected at this point that they would put together something like this that’s completely devoid of any ounce creativity.

We had one hell of a day (and not just because it was a billion degrees) at the DCFC officially official groundbreaking ceremony. Massive thanks to all the supporters who showed up, painted, made s**t, and risked heatstroke in order to make this happen. The club wouldn't be where it is today if it weren't for NGS showing up since day one to create this (usually controlled) chaos.

If you're a part of NGS, most other supporters groups, or are just a weekend fan, you've played some part in the success of this club, and because of that, we still have a club to support.

To say that DCFC has grown and changed since the days of Cass Tech would be the understatement of the fu***ng year. There have been ups and downs, positive changes and some that are less so. Not sure any of us thought that this was where we'd end up, but we're not going anywhere (sorry not sorry, haters).

Starting THIS SATURDAY, July 18, Motor City Sports Bar is the new pregame and postgame home of the Northern Guard Supporters.

Come smash a few drinks, grab a burger, and hang before we head to Keyworth. If postgame hangs are your vibe, come back after the final whistle and celebrate (hopefully).

A couple things to note:

The march itself is NOT changing. We will still march from Jos. Campau & Goodson ONE HOUR before kickoff. We'll leave Motor City a few minutes beforehand, and walk over together to the usual starting point.

Also, they've got food. So whether you need to fuel up before 90 minutes of heckling or recover postmatch, they've got us covered.
