Hello, friends- the LDDGC is happy to announce the addition of 12 new holes. Improvements will continue throughout the summer, but the Dirty Dozen is in! Thanks to Town of Dillon Public Works crew for all the help, and we hope to see you out there soon...

Welcome back, Spring? As many of you have seen first hand, the Course is well on its way to melting out...sweet! All basket placements are in their short locations (thanks, Ben Hicks) and are playable. Dillon's Public Works crew is hard at work on signage, and we're beginning to think about the layout of our new Family 9 Hole Course immediately adjacent to the practice basket/parking area. Stand by for more info on volunteer opportunities...'til then, get out there and enjoy the LDDGC!

Good morning, friends...it's been great seeing everyone out enjoying the course during our extended fall. Just a quick note letting you all know that the baskets have been moved to their short placements for the winter. Get out there and enjoy the weather while it lasts, and thanks for supporting the LDDGC!

Hello, Friends of the LDDGC! Beginning tomorrow (Monday 8/29) there will be a crew felling and removing dead trees near the Course...please be aware and respectful of their efforts. The work is taking place in the stand of trees near the practice basket, 17, and 18 and will allow us to install our much ballyhooed 'Family Course'. Stand by for more info, but we're pumped to get this first step of the work underway!

Baskets have moved! New locations for the following holes:
2 (hard right off the tee pad, similar distance)
4 (deeper)
8 (deeper)
9 (right off the tee pad, on the hillside)
10 (deeper)
13 (shorter and on the right)
14 (left off the pad, same distance)
16 (shorter and in the fairway)
17 (left off the pad)

Enjoy! We'll post an update on the 'Family 9' as soon as we have one...

Good morning, friends- TODAY IS OUR VOLUNTEER DAY!

Come on out and lend a hand digging holes for sign posts and alternate basket locations! We'd love to see as many of you as possible...bring a shovel and work gloves if you can, and come on out to the LDDGC!

OK, thanks for being patient, everyone...we just got confirmation from the Town of Dillon on our volunteer day- FRIDAY JULY 8. Here's the scope of work:
- Dig holes and install 9 alternate basket locations
- Dig holes and plant signage posts
- Designate locations to pile slash for future chipping
- Strategize tee pad lengthening where needed

If you're available, we'd love to see you...please plan on bringing your own food and water, work gloves, and any hand tools you feel might be appropriate. 9am seems like as good a time as any to kick things off...

See you all soon- we're looking forward to giving you all an update on the 'Family 9' as well...it's looking like we might have that installed by the end of the summer!

Happy almost-spring, Friends! Just wanted to give a quick update from your friendly course developers:
- The Town of Dillon has started getting a signage plan together for installation this season (hoping sooner rather than later).
- Stand by on dates for a spring clean-up day (or days). Ideally, we'll install alternate placements during that time.
- Here's the big one: As many of you have observed, we made our tee pads a bit too short. We're hoping to extend the boxes 4-6 feet. IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR INEXPENSIVE SOLUTIONS, PLEASE REACH OUT TO US. No matter what, we're afraid it's going to be a labor-intensive...but it's our opinion that longer pads will make the course better.

Finally, we are gaining traction on the development of an additional 9 hole Family Course directly adjacent to our existing practice basket and parking area. More to come, but think a short pitch and putt course designed with kids and beginners in mind. We are just beginning to talk about it, but let us know what you think- any feedback is welcome here, or shoot us an email at [email protected].

Hope to see you all out there soon!

Great news! The 2015 Peak One Mile High Classic will be coming to the LDDGC on August 1st! The club is expecting nearly 200 participants combined in the Pro and Amateur tourneys...should be a spectacular day!
