Dillsburg Northstars 14u - 2026

Finished our 14u season with a runner-up finish at the Backward K Classic! Had a season that saw significant improvement from each player and the team as a whole. The weekend’s highlights include:

* Great pitching by Jamison, Edward, Benton, Luke, MJ and Jack!
* Big triple by Jack
* Great catches in OF by Luke, Tripp, Jamison and Cooksey!
* MJ, Benton and Edward tied for the team lead in hits
* Jack, Mason & MJ tied for the team lead in RBI
* Jamison with 5 strikeouts in a Game 1 win this morning
* Solid catching from Connor, Benton & MJ
* Big Sam making the ‘Give ‘em the dark one!’ phrase legendary!

The weather was perfect and our baseball was up and down. We made some great defensive plays, had some big hits, pitched some strong innings but overall came up a little short on Sunday. Some highlights of the weekend.

* Sahil leading the team with an OPs over 1.400 for the weekend and making a diving catch in shallow RF from the 2B spot
* Luke, Benton and Tripp with multiple RBI
* Jamison with a few amazing catches in CF in critical spots.
* Jack playing a great 1B and helping our infielders all weekend.
* batting around and putting 8 runs on the board in one inning on Friday night

Runner up finish today - great weekend of baseball. Finished 2-1-1 on the weekend with lots of highlights for every kid.

* Jack and Bennet combining to allow only 1 run in a 8-1 semifinal victory.
* Benton with six hits on the day
* Luke with two huge multi-RBI doubles
* Edward with some amazing defensive plays at SS
* Mason, Luke and Benton with 5+ hits on the weekend.
* Jamison throwing an amazing pool play game in a 7-4 win
* Connor with two huge defensive plays at 3B today
* Sahil throwing five strong innings in relief in the championship game
* Multiple double plays turned

So many positive contributions from everyone. Looking forward to our next tournament in two weeks.

Perfect day for baseball! We finished with one win and one tie. Great pitching from Edward and Jamison. Everyone contributed offensively and we made some nice plays in the field. Ready for Sunday!

Beautiful weekend for baseball! We didn’t get the results we wanted, but we had lots of positives to take away from the weekend. We had some great individual pitching performances, big defensive plays and some good hitting, just not enough team hitting.

* Edward gave us a great start in game 1 going 5 innings, only allowing 2 earned runs and striking out 7
* Bennet threw 6 1/3 innings in game 2 while only allowing 3 earned runs.
* Mason paced the team with four hits on the weekend.
* Benton, Mason, Bennet, Luke, MJ and Edward had multiple hits

Ready to get back to it next weekend!

Northstars had a successful weekend going 2-2 and out scoring our opponents by 20 runs. Both losses were by one run including a heartbreaking walk off loss on Saturday. The weather was wild with 45° temps on Friday morning and 85° during our final game on Saturday. Everyone on the team hit and we made a lot of plays defensively.
