A recent client came in seeking clarity about his life direction. During the process, a strong curiosity emerged about his genealogy, something he had never seriously explored before.
In the weeks that followed, he began researching his family history and reconnecting with ancestral roots that had long been forgotten. What struck me most was how this shift created a new sense of orientation in his life. His work, relationships, and personal decisions began reflecting a deeper sense of purpose.
Interestingly, emerging research from the HeartMath Institute suggests that our emotional and physiological states are closely tied to coherence between the heart, brain, and nervous system. When people reconnect with meaningful narratives like identity, lineage, and belonging, it can create measurable shifts in emotional regulation and clarity.
