The Marple Newtown Delco Hi-Q Team was recognized a the Pennsylvania State Capitol for their achievement of winning the National and Delco Hi-Q title. Thank you to Rep. Lisa Borowski and Rep. Jennifer O'Mara for hosting the team!

We were proud to present the Henderson Trophy to the Marple Newtown Delco Hi-Q team. The team won the Hi-Q National Championship and per Delco Hi-Q tradition, earned the Henderson Trophy named for Wilbur C. Henderson. Congratulations to these champions!

Congratulations to Marple Newtown winners of the 2026 National Hi-Q Championship! It was a competitive four team contest between the four regional Hi-Q Champions.

Final Scores: Marple Newtown, 52; Davidson High School, 49; Oconto Falls High School, 32; Stanwood High School, 20.

Senior Charlieze Ganges was recognized as part of the All Delco Hi Q team, a reflection of her leadership, dedication, and impact as vice president.

“A great way to close out my year with a club I’ve worked so hard with and loved so much.”

Through her experiences in Hi Q, theater, and STEM, Charlieze has embraced collaboration and adaptability, learning how different perspectives come together to build something stronger. That mindset has shaped both her leadership and her success.

As she looks ahead to studying civil engineering and pursuing a future in bridge design and construction, there is no doubt she will continue to build and lead with purpose.

We are so proud of all she has accomplished and the example she sets for our community.

Tomorrow is the big day!! FMFCU Foundation Celebration is the biggest academic recognition event in the Delaware Valley. We are thrilled that Katherine Scott from 6abc Action News will join us again as our host. We can't wait to celebrate!
