Dear Wee Hoop community,
As some of you know one of our most loved coaches, Coach Donte could use your help. Last Fri his 3 year old daughter was diagnosed with an eye cancer called Retinoblastoma. She is currently being evaluated by doctors at UCSF and is scheduled to have her eye removed this Tues.
As a mother of 3, I cannot begin to imagine how stressful a time this is for Donte and his family. I'm hoping the Wee Hoop community can help to alleviate some of the financial stress that they will soon be facing.
Thank you all for your support!

HELP SUPPORT GOLDEN APPLE PLEASANTON! My son, Ryder's favorite local toy store is closing its doors because it can no longer compete with society's shift in shopping habits. He cried when I told him the news and he insisted we visit the store before it closed. Unbeknownst to me, the day we visited the store, Ryder had dug change out of his piggy bank and stuffed it in his pockets. After we completed our final purchase, Ryder pulled a bunch of change out of his pocket and told me he had money for "Mr. John" to save the store. I encouraged Ryder to approach Mr. John and he did just that. Read Mr. John's story and help Ryder save this local business that has been such a great establishment in our community.

Save the Golden Apple Learning Store!
It was one of the most difficult decisions of my life to close the store my mother started. After 36 years, we feel we are truly a part of Pleasanton. This week has been full of tea…
