Reminder open field today from 2-4 pm. Bring uniforms/equipment if you still have to turn in. Coach will have the pink State shirts and commemorative soccer balls. Forecast is warm sunny day (bring water). Pass the word to other potential girls to attend. See you there :)

Congratulations to the Hempstead High School Girls Soccer team on qualifying for the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU)'s Class 3A State Tournament and having a great season. Thank you for representing Hempstead with pride and making proud!

💚⚽️💛 The scoreboard didn't end the way we hoped today, but that doesn't change what this team accomplished.
Out of all the Class 3A girls soccer teams in Iowa, only 8 teams earned the right to play at the State Tournament—and the Hempstead Mustangs were one of them. That alone is an incredible achievement and something these players, coaches, and families should be immensely proud of.
This team battled through every challenge, trusted each other, and represented Hempstead with heart, determination, and class all season long. They gave our community something special to rally around, and the support shown throughout this playoff run was truly amazing.
To our seniors, thank you for your leadership and for helping build a season that won't be forgotten. To every player, coach, parent, and fan—thank you for being part of this journey.
Making it to state means you are among the best. No one can take away the fact that this team finished the season as one of the top 8 teams in Class 3A Iowa girls soccer.
Hold your heads high, Mustangs. This season was a success, this run was special, and this community is incredibly proud of you.
