Solid weekend of hockey for the Dubuque Fighting Hawks.

We finished 1-1-1 —
✔️ Big team win
❌ Tough loss
💔 Shootout loss in the championship

Every game was competitive and came down to the details. The guys showed up, battled hard, and played for each other all weekend long.

Offensively we were able to generate chances and put goals up, and defensively we had stretches where we locked things down and played our style of hockey. A lot of positives to take away, along with things we know we can clean up moving forward.

The championship game going to a shootout says everything about the kind of fight this group has. That’s a game that could’ve gone either way.

Appreciate everyone who followed along, tuned into the live streams, and supported us throughout the weekend — it doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’ll regroup, build off this, and get ready for what’s next. 🦅

There aren’t many words for this one…

We battled all the way to the end and came up just short, losing 6–5 in a shootout.

This one hurts. A lot.

Every single guy left everything out there — every shift, every battle, every second. We fought through adversity, stuck together, and gave ourselves a chance right to the very end. That’s all you can ask for out of a team.

It didn’t end the way we wanted, but I couldn’t be more proud of this group. The heart, the grit, the brotherhood… that’s something bigger than any scoreboard.

To everyone who supported us, watched the streams, sent messages, and cheered us on thank you. It means more than you know. ❤️

We’ll take this one with us. We’ll learn from it. And we’ll be back.
