To all active northland skaters: While the skate club is pretty much defunct, there are still many active skaters in the area, some who would like to train with other skaters.. If you are one of them, would you please enter a comment to this post indicating: o If you are interested in skating / training with other people. o When and where you are most likely to skate o Your skating level 1. Advanced and higher (1:25 marathon times), 2. Intermediate level (1:25 - 1:45 marathon times) 3. Recreational level (above 1:45 marathon times) o Ideas for how to notify others of training skates. Thanks!

Is anyone available for daytime skating? -Amy

Who is planning to take part in the Apostle Island events? I'll be there if anyone wants to meet for dinner the night before.-Amy

Tuesdays skate in Carlton at 6pm at the Munger parking lot. Skate towards Duluth on new pavement. Options to eat and socialize after. Attendance varies, so check in with each other if you want to skate together. The only requirement of this skate is to have fun.

Canal Park - Coldstone Creamery

Meet up at the Coldstone Creamery for a skate around Canal Park and the Lakewalk. Stick around for breakfast afterward, usually at Pizza Luce. The emphasis is on socializing and eating, but we break a sweat sometimes too.

Thursday Night Skate - Thursday, September 5, 6:15 pm (NOTE NEW TIME)
Scenic Highway - Knife River

Skate from Lighthouse at Emily's in Knife River and head north toward Two Harbors. Choose how far you want to skate and then return to the starting point. Stay for a beer and / or food if you are so inclined.

Come out and skate tonight!
