Santa came to visit! I mean UPS.

The channel is on a bit of slow down at the moment. If you didn’t catch the last live video, we are going back to the state where we are from in about 2 months, BUT there’s a lot more racing there, and it’s more centralized to get to MANY races. There will be a lot coming but the next couple months will be a little (very) slow on the channel.

This summer I’ll have actual race footage for you as well if all goes as planned as I’ll be running at many different tracks, and looking to get a DJI Osmo Nano for a good quality hat clip camera

Made a mistake and ended up doing an endo on lap 5 which cost me the run for 3rd. Probably could have gotten close. I was definitely driving the crap out of it to try. Unfortunately the max gearing you can do is 25/81 with the kit 81t spur so it just didn’t have the oomph it needed to keep up. The SWORKz RC x Undercover Race Bodies WARRIOR midget conversion handled great though! With some revised gearing now that spurs are in stock for the S12-3d, this midget will be one to watch. Definitely loved what it did on the maiden voyage tonight and can’t wait for the next one. The Team Tekin Racing Power Cell batteries had me going good and Savox USA servo kept her right in line. Only slow laps I had were the mistake and washing out for the leader, other than that it was almost all 5.7-5.9 laps. Looking forward to going up in gearing when new spur gears get here and trying for round 2! One thing I can say for sure…I LIKE THIS CAR! Shout out to Greg at Undercover for making a great conversion!

Next build series coming to the channel, the SWORKz RC S14-4d (dirt edition) 1/10 4wd buggy. This was a great build with a few hiccups from misinterpretation of the manual but we figured it out. I also show how to modify the battery brace to make it a quick release instead of a pressure fit. Look for the new series starting Jan 30th, or part 1 and 2 already up and open to members with part 3 in editing now.

Well here are my first times ever using liquid mask. I messed up and had it way too thin on the truggy body, but for first time and using rattle cans it didn’t turn out too bad. Also found out in the 1/10 buggy body I hate the purple backed in white. So test were back to black like the midget. Now to eventually get an airbrush so I can control the paint better than rattle cans. Decent start to the year though. Probably have them all professionally painted once I get all the Leadfinger bodies for the off road cars.
