Our meeting on Saturday September 25th will be held at the Citrus County Fairgrounds. See flyer attached. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Good news!

Our first meeting will be held this Saturday, 9/11/2021 at 9am.

Be sure to bring your bows, if you have one, as we will be conducting inspections.

We are looking forward to a great year!

2020 Citrus County Fair
Sale Animal Projects

Dudley's Auction has offered to assist you in selling your animal through this online catalog auction as a benefit to you.

All Sale project Exhibitors who choose to participate will need to do the following: Send Steps 1 - 4 listed below to [email protected] - no later than 5:00 pm Friday, March 20th

1. Send a photo of you and your project
2. Send a short Bio (100 words or less)
3. Send your complete Name, Address & Phone # and include your Parents contact #
4. You may submit a minimum bid amount, if this minimum amount is not met then your animal will not be sold.

All Steers and Market Lambs must be brought to the Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 21st between the hours of 8:00 am and Noon to be weighted.

All Swine must be brought to the Fairgrounds on Sunday, March 22nd between the hours of 8:00 am and Noon to be weighted.

Pen of Meat Poultry and Pen of Meat Rabbit only have to submit Steps 1 - 4 listed above.

The Fair will weigh your animal species according to the guidelines listed above even if you choose not to enter the Sale.

All animals must enter thru the Pit Gate and stage in the midway area. Stay in your truck and wait for instructions. Only the Exhibitor and 1 Parent per animal may come to the Fairgrounds.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR RECORD BOOKS TO THE FAIRGROUNDS THIS WEEKEND.

Getting ready for fair and up coming 4H events!

Working hard getting ready for the club pig. A big thank you to all who came out and helped on Saturday.

Our club steer, "Little Man" at weigh in this morning. He weighed in at 675lbs! Not so little, lol!

Swine sale tonight at 6:30pm! Come on out to the county fair.

The things we do as 4h leaders....model tutus, getting ready for the swine sale.

Proof positive that when you face your fears you can overcome any obstacle standing in your way.
At the beginning of this project she was apprehensive, nervous and downright scared. Couldn't be more proud of her!!

Fair Week Day 3:
Charcoal, a.k.a Mr. Sweet Face, is busy getting ready for his show tonight. Come on out at 6:30pm to watch!

Club is getting ready for tonight's swine show! Come out and root them on at 6:30 pm!

Fair Week day 2 Update: the club steer Charcoal made it into the fair. 1145lbs. Come out tomorrow at 6:30pm for the show and Thursday at 6:30pm for the sale.

Fair Week Day 1: the club pig and a few of our club members pigs didn't make it in the fair due to being under weight.

Fair Week Day 2: taking the club steer in today, hoping for a better result. Stay tuned....
