Can a pair of half tights carry enough gear to replace a running belt or hydration vest?
While training for a fall half marathon, Rising Star Taylor Marton set out to find a simpler way to carry his phone, fuel, electrolytes and water. He tested four men’s running half tights from Path Projects, Terignota, Hikebeast and For the Run during easy runs, workouts and long runs.
For his storage test, Taylor packed six gels, energy gummies, two packets of salt tabs and his phone. He also tested 350- and 500-milliliter soft flasks to see which pockets could handle hydration without bouncing.
The four designs delivered noticeably different strengths in comfort, coverage, capacity and organization—and one pair earned Taylor’s race-day vote.
