Our season came to a close and while it’s not the ending we hoped for, this team has so much to be proud of. These Lady Lions battled all season long with heart, toughness, and a commitment to each other that never wavered. They represented our school, our community, and this program with pride every time they stepped on the floor.

To our seniors — thank you. Thank you for the countless hours, the leadership, the sacrifices, and the love you poured into this program. You helped build the culture of Lady Lions basketball and set the standard for those who will follow. The impact you’ve had on your teammates, coaches, and this community will last far beyond this season. We are incredibly proud of you and grateful for everything you’ve given.

While this chapter closes, the memories, friendships, and lessons from this season will last forever.

The road continues tonight! The Lions are headed to the first round of the Area Tournament where we will take on Edison Preparatory School at Jenks High School.

🕢 Tip-off: 7:30 PM

We would love to see Lion Nation there supporting our guys! If you can’t make the trip, be sure to tune in live with Jim Reagan.

It’s win or go home from here on out. With a win tonight, the Lions will face the loser of East Central High School vs Glenpool High School on Saturday.

For more than a decade, Aaron has coached boys basketball, boys and girls track along with teaching physical education at Durant High School.

Our Lions’ season came to a close, and while this one hurts, it does not define the heart, grit, and brotherhood this team showed all year long. These young men battled every single night, represented our school with class, and gave everything they had for each other and for Durant.

To our seniors — thank you. Thank you for your leadership, your sacrifice, your early mornings and late nights, and for setting the standard for what it means to wear Lions across your chest. You have left your mark on this program in ways that go far beyond wins and losses. We love you, we are proud of you, and we cannot wait to see the incredible things you accomplish next.

It’s win-or-go-home time, Lion Nation! Our boys are headed to East Central tonight to take on Tulsa Edison at 7:30 PM.
