Race recap:
Heat race: Graham started 3rd and finished 3rd. There was a caution due to a tip over during the heat.

Feature: Graham started on the pole and led for a lap or two when another car attempted to pass on the inside of him, Graham held his line and he got spun sideways. Back under green Graham’s cousin Duke was battling with Graham for the lead when attempting to pass Graham on the outside in turn 4 when Duke started to get loose and he spun into the wall and hit pretty hard. We are so glad Duke’s safety equipment did its job keeping him safe.
Graham finished the year strong with a podium finish in 3rd place. A tell tale sign that everyone and everything is tired after this season is while on victory lane, we noticed a significant puddle of oil coming from Grahams engine.

We are all very happy with the improvements Graham has made this year behind the wheel. He’s shown consistency in his driving ability, situational awareness and willingness to turn wrenches between races and learn how things work.

Although Mother Nature didn’t cooperate tonight at Eagle River Speedway, it was awesome to have Velocita-USA surprise us at the track tonight! Graham was able to try on and get some top of the line safety equipment in preparation for next season! They also donated some awesome giveaways for the banquet as well!! Very cool and very appreciated!!

Race Recap

Heat, Graham started second and finished second. We are all very thankful that the driver of the car that crashed wasn’t seriously injured 🙏.

Feature, started second and finished 8th out of the 9 that started and finished. It is amazing to see the improvements that Graham has made since the beginning of the season. He’s running smooth consistent laps, and is finding some speed where he needs it week after week.

It’s hard to believe there are only 2 more races remaining this season at Eagle River Speedway! This next Tuesday the 25th is autograph night! Come down onto the track before the racing starts and talk to the drivers, check out the cars, get a sticker and an autographed hero card from Graham! We also have some t-shirts and hoodies for sale and in stock as well.

Race recaps:
Well, it’s been a busy couple of weeks! It’s about time we get caught up on some recaps.

Since Graham “Duke” launched his car 6 feet through the air a few weeks ago, he has done an excellent job getting back in it and running some smooth consistent laps.

He is working on gaining confidence and speed each and every race, and in the 12 lap features he is maintaining the lead lap which is a massive improvement from the beginning of the year.

With only a couple races left we will aim to finish the season strong!
