Lily and I are settling into our new routine, and I’m loving every minute of it. ❤️ Naps, treats, snuggles, and slow walks together are our new normal. I’ve reminded her she’s not retired just yet 😂, but for now, she’s one very happy girl and I’m a happy horse mom. 🐴💕 Brooke and Lily

Disengaging the hindquarters is helpful on the ground and under the saddle. It can be used as a mental reset button, an emergency stop, and a cue to help maneuver them in a safe way. We love our guys having buttons and speaking our language. 🐴✨

First time working with Ranger and I used the same set of exercises as Aragorn to start our communication on the ground. Ranger is a young off the track thoroughbred who came to us with very ouchy feet and very sweet eyes. He seems very comfortable with people but can be a little jumpy around the outside world (still figuring out what’s been spooking him near the hitching post).
He is the leader of his buddy, Aragorn and is very bonded with him. Excited to watch him learn and grow
* planning on using some positive reinforcement techniques with both of these sweet boys as well as continuing with our natural horsemanship journey. Stay tuned!
