Brayleigh C Leads Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U Past Scotia-Glenville Fire 12U

Brayleigh C collected three hits in three at bats, as Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U defeated Scotia-Glenville Fire 12U 16-5 on Thursday. Brayleigh singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the second inning.

Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Amelia V doubled, scoring one run, Brayleigh singled, scoring one run, and Joslyn C singled, scoring two runs.

Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI singles by June W and Alayna C.

Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U scored five runs on three hits in the top of the third inning. Amelia singled, scoring one run, June doubled, scoring two runs, Brayleigh singled, scoring one run, and one run scored on another play.

Brayleigh earned the win for Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U. The hurler surrendered four hits and five runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking four. Avery H started in the circle for Scotia-Glenville Fire 12U. The righty gave up 12 hits and 12 runs (10 earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking two.

Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U piled up 16 hits in the game. Brayleigh, Alayna, and Amelia each collected three hits for Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U. Joslyn, Amelia, and June each drove in three runs for Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U. Myah S collected two hits for Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U in two at bats. Mia C stole two bases.

The Rumble Ponies have been tested this weekend against some outstanding competition, and these girls have answered every challenge with grit, determination, and positive attitudes. With each game, they’ve continued to improve at the plate and in the field, and we’re excited to carry that momentum into bracket play tomorrow!

🔥 Amelia Vincent – Steady and reliable at shortstop, making big plays look routine.

A special shoutout to Brayleigh Celona and Abby Gray for their work in the circle. Both continue to improve every outing and have given this team a chance to compete every time they take the ball.

Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U defeated Latham Hurricanes 12U 12-4 on Friday at Winnie Field.

Brayleigh C struck out 10 batters on the day. She gave up seven hits and four runs over six innings while only walking one.

Xpress Rumble Ponies accumulated 19 hits in the game. Amelia, Mia C, and Myah each collected three hits. Alayna, Abby G, Molly J, and June each collected multiple hits. Marlo paced Xpress Rumble Ponies 12U with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Mia stole two bases. The Rumble Ponies stole six bases in the game and were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. June had the most chances in the field with 10.
