Did you know I do all my workouts at home?
Yup that’s 💯 correct after my 2nd child 7 years ago I wasn’t able to go to the gym because of my schedule. At first I hated it I was so used to going to the gym and I was so unmotivated to work out at home. I remember crying like a big baby thinking I could never get back in shape working out at home. Days after feeling sorry for myself I shifted me mindset and told myself I either can cry and feel sorry for myself and be depressed or look online and see what I can do for home workouts. My saving grace was YouTube. I looked up a lot of body weight videos then I got the courage and bought some dumbells and a small barbell and wrote up an excercise program for me. And down the line I ended up getting my certificate for hiit class and bam. I got my cardio and weight lifting. Long story short is go after whatever you want and remember seasons of life change and just keep grinding and keep at your goals. Don’t be scared to ask for help😀

That after workout pump💪🏻 leg day turned into upper body day and I have no regrets
Man what a difference I feel now compared to years ago when I first started my journey. I was obsessed with how many calories I could burn while working out, basically a cardio bunny. Not to mention my strict diet LORD there were days I couldn’t think the fact I was practically starving myself. Did I lose weight yes, but I was so miserable. Today my mindset has shifted. I’m focused on getting healthy and STRONG💪🏻
It can be tough and overwhelming in the beginning don’t be afraid or embarrassed to get help😀

Today after work I was driving home from work which takes me about 20 mins the whole time I was trying to talk myself out of working out, sounds silly but I did I really just didn’t feel like it, but you know what I went home and dragged my ass downstairs with a sour face and got it done. I felt amazing after. You have to understand this is a lifestyle. It won’t be easy. Some days are going to suck. But the real key isn’t motivation. It’s discipline.
