Hip Hip Hooray to Becky Anderson, aka “the Silent Thunder”, for racking up 200 workouts and rise to the rank of Workout Hero Champion!! 🎉🏆
She sure didn’t dilly-dally her way through all those workouts either, as this woman is a HARD worker and so consistent with how she shows up.
I appreciate how whenever I give her a rep range for a goal when doing an exercise, let's say 10-15 reps, she goes for the HIGH end of that rep range each time! 😂
All I have to do is tell her how many she did with that weight last week and in the back of her mind she thinks, “Oooo, I’m going to try and beat it”...
… LOVE her mind and she entirely has the mind of a Champion long before officially named one here!
Getting to this level takes around the first 1-2 years of a Workout Hero’s journey and so it’s a wonderful time to ask about any favorite accomplishments, experiences, and/or highlights they might have had.

“I am excited by the little changes I notice after a year of working out regularly.
Everyday tasks are easier, and I can now do multiple sit ups, push ups in a row, and working towards a pull up next!

“How young is your biological age compared to your chronological age?”
That is the question a brave Workout Hero will be answering as they adventure their way through 11 different physical (and mental!) tests that determine their REAL body age :)
This season’s brave adventurer?….
… The incomparable Stephanie Pyykola... aka “Perfection”!
This show all started thanks to Jill, who thought it would be great to earn a Cher “Turn Back Time” badge if someone proved through a number of tests that they were younger than their chronological age.
In researching for that badge i thought it would be cool (and helpful!!) to turn it into a show!

🎉 Big shoutout to Josie LaLiberty for getting to her first rank and becoming an official Workout Hero Beast! 😂
It’s a rare kind of person who quietly steps into a gym, with a healthy amount of fear going on and…
… before you know it…
… becomes a delightful FORCE!
That person is Josie.
When she first joined my Workout Hero Club, her plan was simple: try out the 4:30 a.m. session (because she knew a few of the AM Angels there)
and then maybe move to a later time slot to catch some more sleep.
But as we quickly learned, sleep was no match for Josie’s discipline and might! 😂
Her VERY early morning workouts quickly became her routine, and from day one, she fit right in with those elite AM Angels – crushing workouts,
and getting stronger and in better and better shape with each week…
… all the while cracking smiles and having good talks with her fellow Angels 😀
What I appreciate the most about Josie is that she began her Workout Hero Journey on a Mission…
… A mission to change her body.
To grow stronger.
To take back her health into her own hands – in honor of her loved ones.
To not let “Father Time” take away any quality of life.
To turn back the clock.
And as the last 2 months of awesome workout performances as proof,
its a mission that’s just a matter of time until it’s accomplished! 😀
Josie is a shining example of what happens when hard work, heart, and humility collide.
She’s whip smart,
curious,
and always striving to be better in some capacity than she was before.
Whether she’s going for more reps,
Adding weight to the barbell,
moving a little quicker, or digging deeper on that final round…
… this Workout Hero Beast is in it to win it (as the cool kids like to say 🙂)
Outside the gym, Josie’s story continues to inspire.
She’s a loving mom and wife,
a devoted professional,
and a prominent member of her church family at Haven Church here in Eau Claire.
We connected over our shared love of Jesus. ❤️
Her body is growing strong.
Her Faith already fantastic.
Her smile is kind.
Her support of others is genuine and the real deal.
Yet despite all that hard work she still knows how to kick back and have some fun – she loves her sweets and hanging with her girlfriends – all very well deserved 🙂
Though new to the world of strength training, Josie has taken to it like a natural.
Her progress is already showing, especially in her strong looking legs…
… But it’s her consistency,
her dedication, and her kind heart that deserve our recognition and appreciation. 🥰

“You are now to address me as CHAMPION”, said Sara smiling to her fellow Workout Heroes following her 200th workout and being awarded the rank of Workout Hero Champion.
We all laughed in celebration with her! 😂
Thats a perfectly good example of why her nickname/moniker is “Sunshine wrapped in skin” 🥰
Just love it and you can see why this classy and funny girl is so easy to be such a big fan of!
I’m so proud of her for getting to this rank and what a fitting title for someone so consistent, disciplined, and fiercely driven.
She’s an absolute powerhouse in the gym, especially when it comes to deadlifts and bench presses
I appreciate how she’s always in quiet competition with herself to be even a little bit better in some capacity in the gym every week…
… which is absolutely a trademark of a Champion!
Getting to this rank took Sara about a year and when I asked her if she had any favorite memories or highlights from her first year as a Workout Hero… I really loved her response.
Here it is:
“Honestly it really just comes down to how good I feel leaving each morning after a workout.
It’s the people, the positive environment you (Erick) have created and the good challenging workouts that keep me coming back! 😁”

That’s what it means to just “keep walking the Workout Hero’s Journey” and Sara is such a shining example of that (plus she’s just so funny and cool! 😂)

Looks like we have our first Workout Hero arrive to LEGEND rank already!
*(that weren’t there already… shoutout to my Golden Girls, you know who you are! ♥️)
And of course it is none other than the unforgettable, incomparable, “First to everything”...
… Ashley Rueth!!
She averaged about 5 times a week since her Workout Hero journey began…
… I figured 350 workouts would have the typical person getting to this rank in about 2 years and leave it to Ashley to get there in under a year and a half!
In case you missed it in the video below, here’s pretty much the little speech I shared when she received this award…

She’s one of Kason’s favorites too and it's easy to see why (see the ‘thumbs up picture” below, those 2 are so cute together
It’s been a wild ride and quite the show you’ve put on these last couple of years, Ashley, and it’s crazy to think that you still continue to grow more and more into your best self!

This sweet Marie, aka “Sweetness”, had 3 main goals at the beginning of this year…
1.) Get to 1 Plate Club for one of her main lifts
2.) Rock her first pull-up
3.) Become a Workout Hero Warrior
Well now with her smashing through her 120th workout to become a Workout Hero Warrior, 2 of those are done and the year isn’t even halfway done! 🙌
This strong woman may be as sweet and charming as they come, but you should see how fierce she works in the gym and tough as nails she is to absolutely live up to her new status as a Warrior!
She’s earned being called a Warrior with heart, grit, and a smile that could power a small city. 🥰
She’s as tough as she is sweet and this Marie is pretty ‘off-da-charts’ sweet!!
But don’t let her sweetness fool you, this Warrior Does. Not. Back. Down!
On her way through 120 workouts, she battled through obstacles most would use as excuses, and kept showing up with unwavering consistency and grace.
A Warrior doesn’t do that unless they have a Worthy Cause to fight for.
When asked what her Worthy Cause is, here’s what Marie had to say…
“To be better than I was yesterday and
continue to grow so I can show up for
myself and my family in the best way
possible.”
Wow. What an amazing Worthy Cause and one you certainly are living up to each day, Marie!
So proud of you and you keep fighting on now, Sweetness…

🎉 Here’s to Susie Kleist getting her first rank to become a Workout Hero Beast! 💪🟢🖤
Her fellow AM Angel, Amy DeRuyter was telling Susie all about this gym at their business networking event and it all sounded pretty cool to Susie.
So she accepted Amy’s invite to join, knowing it was about time to start investing in herself to get stronger and become the best version of herself. 💪
Even though this was her first time since high school lifting weights and doing the style of workouts we do here, Susie is a fellow entrepreneur and is no stranger to being brave.
She’s the owner of the successful Bed, Bath and Drapery store here in Eau Claire and she fit right in with the 4:30AM Angels, with them all being badass successful go-getters in their own right. 😊
She hit the ground running and caught on quick.
It helps that she is really smart and is a natural athlete. 🙂
If you know Susie, then you know this lady does not do anything halfway.
Once her mind is set on something, she gets after it.
She took the qualities that made her a BOSS at business… her drive,
discipline,
her self-responsibility,
and the ability to follow directions from her mentors…
… and unleashed them in the gym.
And wow, it has sure paid off for her!
I’m so proud of how she shows up every week, and how she shows up to not just check a box (or mark a tally… IYKTK 😉 ) but to become a better person.
She works as hard in the gym as she does in her business, and does it all with modesty, soul and integrity.
She never complains, never has a bad word to say about anyone, just continually displays classic Susie kindness and grace.
She’s so smiley and always sharing her trademark awesome laugh. 🙂
When she isn’t smashing workouts or running her business, she enjoys watching sports.
Especially the Packers (yay!)
And relaxes to some of her favorite shows – Friends, Sh*tt’s Creek, Ted Lasso, or The Office. (She has such good taste, IMO 😊)
Congratulations, Susie!
This is an awesome achievement and is just the beginning for all that I believe you’ll do in this fitness world.
