We found ultimate success….FINALLY….at Kubb on a Stick! Great teamwork and communication. In the last three rounds we had to claw back from a game one loss against tough opponents. This is the second largest tournament in the USA.

John Ellingsen and Joe Dekan managed to make it through a talented field to the championship match of the Kubbing to Kick Cancer anual tournament . Although falling short of the ultimate goal, it was a good day of Kubb. It was a strong showing from six teams with Eau Claire Kubb League players, four making it to the top eight championship bracket.

With all three members present, Flux grabbed a podium spot at Wisconsin State Kubb Championship this weekend, finishing in third place. While not at the top, it was a great day to build as a team and learn some things. Feeling great for this Kubb summer season!!

John, Joe and Gregg Jochimsen teamed up as the Frosty Mugs to compete in the Loppet Kubb tournament. They cruised through the morning winning 6 of the 7 seeding rounds to earn the top spot for the bracket. Narrowly defeated their opponents in the first round. Lost the second round, and finished on a good note by winning the third place match in three games.
Fun was had by all who played.

Nick and John had to face the very strong field of talent and the unpredictable weather of Lake Superior without Joe. Proud to have taken third at this tournament. Lake Superior Kubb, thank you for putting on another legendary tournament!
