Exactly one year ago today, Top Tier Health and Fitness officially opened its doors.

I just wanted to give a big thank you to all those who have helped me get here over the years, and to those who have entrusted me with guiding them on their fitness journey.

One of the best parts of coaching is watching clients gain confidence in movements that once felt intimidating.

I’ve been working with a client for some time now, and when she first started, she relied on a cane to get around. About a week ago, she came into the gym without it.

We’ve spent time improving her balance, strengthening her hips and core, and building better movement patterns. Seeing her hard work pay off has been incredibly rewarding.

Over the years, both in my own training and while coaching others, I’ve come across a phrase I love: “Creating an Upward Spiral.”

It’s the accumulation of small wins over time that leads to something much bigger. One step forward becomes another, and before you know it, you’ve achieved something that once seemed out of reach.

So ask yourself: What was your small win this week?

Celebrate it. You’re on your way.Just changed one sentence.

Hope everyone enjoyed some quality time with family and friends this weekend as we honored those who fought for our freedoms. 🇺🇸

Now that the holiday weekend is wrapping up, it’s time to refocus and get back into healthier routines, and the “old-school trainer” in me would want everyone doing burpees to burn off every last calorie from the weekend.🫣 But the wellness coach in me sees things a little differently now.🤔😮‍💨

After 13 years in the fitness industry as a NASM trainer and certified NASM wellness coach, I’ve learned that a healthy lifestyle is about balance between both physical and mental wellness.

We can’t be strict all the time, and it’s completely normal to enjoy good food and be part of the moments happening around us. What matters most is what we consistently do over time.

Enjoy the holiday… then get back to building healthy habits, moving your body, eating well, and working toward your goals.

Consistency beats perfection every time. 💪🏆
