The deal is done! This past week Brian Hughes and I towed his two man K-350 submarine to Seabring Florida, to exchange/trade for my ("Chesapeake Submarine Service's" now "South Florida Submarines"), one man K-350. We will always work together in future but for now we ("South Florida Submarines" - formerly "Chesapeake Submarine Service"), will give rides and classes at Lake Denton, just north of Seabring Florida, and about an hour south of Orlando. Lake Denton Update. We hope to get our K-350 to Florida in the coming weeks. Below are a couple photos of the lake and a depth chart. The black and white photographs at the bottom are of WWII submarine Captain George Kittridge in his personal K-350, the same submarine that we will be giving piloting classes in. He was still diving this sub into his early 90's. In all Captain Kittridge's company built over forty submarines of similar design with several being purchased by the Navy. Chesapeake Submarine Service will soon be moving our submarines and piloting instruction to Lake Denton in central Florida. This lake is ideal for our instructional operations and is a well known divers destination. We will be giving hands on piloting classes in Captain George Kittridge's personal K-350 (pictured below). Will post more in the coming weeks...to be continued
