This message is specifically directed towards coaches whose teams may be participating in future events hosted by Texas Blaze STX 2034, particularly the tournament held over Memorial Day weekend in Port Isabel. As coaches, we are ultimately responsible for our teams' actions and behavior. A recent experience with this organization has raised concerns regarding their professionalism, fairness, and responsibility in managing tournaments. On April 25, 2026, our team, 14U Lady Longhorns Fastpitch, confirmed our participation in the Blazing Summer tournament, only to be unexpectedly removed from the schedule the night before the event due to alleged organizational issues. Despite being given schedule times since Wednesday, changes were made repeatedly, including on Saturday night, without direct communication. We were informed of our removal from the tournament via a group chat, citing our failure to respond within an hour, despite previous verbal confirmations and discussions. The lack of consideration for the impact on participating teams was notable. Given the distance many teams travel for these events, last-minute changes or removals can cause significant inconvenience. We urge coaches to consider the implications of such actions and advise teams to exercise caution when committing to events hosted by this organization. We hope that our experience will serve as a warning and prompt a review of practices within the organization. -AI Pro
