From Feeling to Dancing
Class Description: At its most basic dance is about finding joy moving your body! This class utilises an approach to understanding movement based in physical awareness as a means to broaden our range of physical and artistic capabilities in the genre of Modern Dance. Favoring functional movement language such as reaching, folding, rolling, and floating, we will step outside traditional dance vocabulary to find our own approaches to dance that make sense in our bodies. Moving through guided “tune-ups,” structured improvisation, and choreography with room for interpretation,
this class is geared towards supporting all levels of dancers. There will be Disco.

Tomorrow! will be teaching Contemporary Funk from 3:30- 5:00pm. Only $10!!

Class Description: Class will start with a brief warmup and then we will jump right in. The goal of this class is to have fun while focusing on details, specifically paying attention to the contrast between sharp and soft movements. Be prepared to have some fun, get funky, and let your hair down!
