EHS Swim and Dive Team

The EHS Girls and Boys Swim & Dive teams are seen as one of the best supported teams in the state! Throughout the past 13 years since team inception, we have continually expanded our programs reach by adding new athletes, traveling all over the state in search of top tier competition, and providing new and exciting training equipment and experiences for our athletes!

We are running a fundraising campaign so that we can continue our program growth, providing athletes with the best team experience possible and making EHS Swim & Dive a team athletes can’t wait to join!

We appreciate any and all donations to our campaign, no matter the size.

With your help, we can take this already historic program to the next level!

Congratulations to these 5 amazing EHS Girls Swim and Dive athletes for achieving the designation of NISCA All-American for the 25-26 season! To be named as an All-American, swims must be ranked in the top 100 performances in the country. What an incredible honor for these incredible student athletes! Way to represent the team and school on the nation wide stage!

The 25-26 Swim and Dive season came to a close at the ISDA All-State Banquet! We celebrated our honorees: Girls 200 medley relay (Scout, Greta, Reilly, Grace) - 2nd team, Girls 50 Free (Grace Oertle) - Honorable Mention, Boys Diving (Derek Ruehl) - Honorable Mention, Boys 500 Free (Jackson Suhre) - Honorable Mention, Girls 200 Free Relay (Scout, Greta, Laine, Grace) - 2nd team, Girls 100 Back (Scout Jackson) - Honorable Mention, Girls 400 Free Relay (Laine, Scout, Reilly, Grace) - Honorable Mention. Special recognition to Justin Thompson as Girls and Boys Sectional Dive Coach of the Year and Christian Rhoten as Girls Sectional Swim Coach of the Year. What a great way to end a memorable season!

The 25-26 Boys Swim and Dive season came to a close at our banquet tonight! It was fantastic to see these hardworking guys recognized for their efforts.

The 2026 Boys Swim and Dive season has come to a close! Derek Ruehl placed 16th in diving and Jackson Suhre 16th in the 500 free. These guys made history this weekend and we're beyond proud. What a way to wrap up the season!

Day 1 of the IHSA State Meet brought us 2 historic finishes for the team! Diver Derek Ruehl becomes the first boys diver to final at the state meet in program history! Sophomore Jackson Suhre became only the 2nd boys swimmer in team history to final at the State meet in the 500 free (or any other freestyle event) dropping 4.5 seconds from his sectional swim to place 16th. These guys came in and fought hard at one of the toughest high school swim meets in the country! Special shoutout to seniors Andre Myers and Bryce Seymour who swam their last events for the team today. They will be missed but will do amazing things in their next chapters of life. We are officially competing on Saturday!
