Nobody warns you about this part:

1. It’s going to feel irresponsible at first. Spending time and money on something that hasn’t made money yet feels reckless when you have bills. It’s not. It’s an investment. The irresponsible thing is doing nothing.

2. Your 9-to-5 will fund your freedom if you let it. I never resented my paralegal job. I used it. Every paycheck either paid my bills or went into the next business. Your income is a launchpad, not a life sentence.

3. You won’t feel ready. Post anyway. Invest anyway. Build anyway. I wasn’t ready when I bought my first fix and flip. I wasn’t ready when I launched the Airbnb. I wasn’t ready when I started posting online. Ready never showed up. I stopped waiting.

4. The people around you won’t always understand it. That’s fine. They don’t have to. Build anyway.

5. The hardest part isn’t the work. It’s believing it’s possible for you specifically. Not for someone else with more money or more time or more connections. For you. With what you have. Where you are right now.

It’s possible. I’m doing it as a full-time paralegal with an autoimmune disease from my couch some days.
