What an incredible evening with 🤍🏳️‍🌈

We had the opportunity to attend the private unveiling of the “Welcome to Seattle. This is How We Pride” storytelling campaign ahead of the FIFA World Cup! A campaign centered around inclusion, visibility, community, and the many ways Seattle shows up with Pride.

Inspired by the campaign, Catalina and I created our own video to reflect what Pride means to us and why representation matters so deeply.

We’re so proud to live in a city that continues to make space for visible LGBTQ+ representation and welcomes people from all over the world we prepare for the 🌎

Thank you again for having us and for creating something that celebrates community in such a meaningful way.

CALL OF ACTION‼️🚨 (keep reading)

That comment was made on a post about trans love. Nothing even related to fitness. I responded after seeing a coach with 13k following openly exchange transphobic rhetoric. And unfortunately… this mindset is way too common in the fitness industry.

Fitness IS gender affirming. Period.

What’s actually unsafe are coaches, trainers, and fitness spaces that make people feel unwelcome in their own bodies. What’s unsafe is creating environments where q***r and trans people have to question if they belong before even stepping through the door.

This post isn’t about one man’s comment. It’s about something much bigger.

It got me thinking about how many times I’ve walked into gyms or studios and immediately felt uncomfortable. Like I had to shrink myself. Like I wasn’t in the “right” space. And I know so many others feel that too right now.

So I want to turn this into something useful. 🚨⬇️
DROP your favorite q***r owned gyms (allys too), inclusive fitness spaces, pilates studios, yoga studios, run clubs, hot mat classes, recovery spaces. ANYWHERE people can move their bodies and feel safe, respected, and seen. Nationwide. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Comment the city + the space so people can come back to this post and find community wherever they are. 🤍

“Not here to perform gender correctly.
Just here to exist authentically.”

Most of you know I lived in Texas most of my life.. 31 years. Looking back now, I don’t think I fully realized how much your environment can shape the way you see yourself or how much leaving certain spaces can help you grow into who you were always meant to be.

Since moving to Seattle, I’ve felt more open, more free, and more connected to my identity. I’m expressing myself in ways I never thought I’d feel comfortable enough to before.

Even something as simple as wearing tape publicly used to feel impossible, and now it’s become something that genuinely feels like me.

Texas will always be part of my story and helped shape who I am, but this next chapter has allowed me to fully explore, express, and embrace parts of myself I was once too afraid to step into 🌊🤘🏼🤘🏼

Btw thank you for the most incredible boating experience in Seattle! Q***r inclusive, latinx owned and SUCH an amazing way to escape life stress and see what Seattle has to offer 😍☀️🛥️

I can’t believe I’ve been using for a YEAR now 🥹Time really flies when you’re booking extended stays all over the coast✈️

If you’re someone who is a digital nomad, being relocated for work, or just wants to take a month+ to try living in a new city… this is for YOU.

Blueground has 50,000+ apartments across 4,000+ cities worldwide and it’s honestly forever changed the way I stay.📍

What I love most? Hotels always feel like a hit or miss… and staying in someone else’s home just isn’t always it for me. 🫣😅

With Blueground, I KNOW what I’m walking into every time:
✔️ Clean, fully furnished spaces
✔️ Privacy (huge for me)
✔️ Full amenities (kitchen, washer/dryer, everything you need, even parking & sometimes a grill pool or hot tub)
✔️ Consistent quality every stay

I’ve stayed in 5+ Bluegrounds now and every single one has been amazing!

Trust me on this one. Book your next monthly stay with them and come back and tell me how much you loved it. AND I got you a little perk 💸 (save this reel)

Happy Le***an Visibility week👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏼🤍

Even though Catalina and I are from different countries, cultures and upbringings. One of the things we have bonded over the most is our shared experiences as le****ns.

Although we look very different we have both lived our lives trying to prove and show the world we just want to feel valued, loved and seen for who we are. “Le***an” does not have a certain look or label. It is an umbrella of beauty in many shapes, forms and identities.

As we grow our relationship together we cannot wait to travel and experience all the world has to offer 🌎🌍So we’d love some suggestions of safe and q***r friendly places to travel to 😍 and we will add them to our list!

It’s kind of wild how even now as an almost 33 year old person. I heavily question myself and what I do. BUT Only because of my upbringing.. hear me out..🙃😅

I was raised in a really strict household with a type A mexican father and mom who followed suite. We went to church every Sunday. Sometimes multiple times a week for Holidays. We even explored traditional latin mass when I was in my teens. I attended Catholic private schools until I was 18. And was consistently around ideologies centered around (be straight, go to college, be successful, obey, don’t sin and be an obedient daughter). None of that to say is wrong. Sure a lot of who I am now is centered around my upbringing.

But the common theme that was always around me.. was “judgement”.

I think engrained in my brain is the idea of “damn Im going to be judged so hard for this” or “I wonder what ____ will think about this”. It’s so weird because I know exactly what I want. I know who I am. I love who I am.. but sometimes I struggle with standing in my decisions without past voices or judgment creeping in. It’s interesting what your upbringing will do even if you aren’t currently immersed in the political, religious or cultural dynamics.

Anyway. Blackout tattoos are one of the most intense things you can do. I mean “i think” in the world of tattooing (from a societal perspective). But here we are haha🖤🖤

I thought about this for a while. Had a cover up of a tattoo I needed gone & didn’t really like the cover up. So made the decision. Full send baby.

I guess im sharing a more candid take for now until I make a professional reel on the story of how I got here.

And yes… it was painful. Not as much as the healing though.

This past year, I died in so many ways.
But I know it was necessary for what’s to come!⛓️‍💥
