Five Lake Area football players have been named to the Academic All-State team by the Missouri Football Coaches Association. To earn this honor, players must be nominated by their head coach, be a starter in 70% of games (or a punter/kicker), and be a sophomore, junior, or senior. Furthermore, nominees must meet two of three academic criteria: an ACT score of 25 or higher (or 1200 SAT), a non-weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a class rank in the top 20%. The Camdenton Lakers had three juniors on the Class 5 team: Cole Ginnings, Bryce Branson, and Nobel Mallahan, while the Eldon Mustangs saw junior Keyan Dinwiddie and senior Christian Sanders named to the Class 3 team.

Mustang Football Awards Banquet is tonight at 6:00 pm in the HS cafeteria for all all high school football players and their families. Excited to see everyone and celebrate our 2025-2026 Mustangs.

Congratulations to everyone on this list, but a special Congratulations to our own Eldon Football Players, Drew Hinds - QB, Cody Brown - LB, Khale Hammond - RB, Chase Atkinson - LB, Drew Hinds - P, and Hayden Dougan - K for earning All Class 3 District 4 honors.

Reminder that our end of season awards banquet will be held a week from today on December 14th at 6:00 pm in the High School Cafeteria. All current High School football players and their families are encouraged to attend.

Four Eldon Mustangs were named to the 2025 Central Missouri Media Class 3 All-District football teams as selected by area media members. Senior Drayden DeLong earned second-team honors as both a running back and defensive back, while junior Drew Hinds was recognized as a second-team all-purpose player. Additionally, senior offensive lineman James Phillips and senior linebacker Bryce Berendzen also received second-team selections.

Off season starts Dec 1st. Friday nights are won in the off season. Excited to get back to work.
