The Lady owls competed in the 5A regional today. It was a long day and some of the girls played four matches. Even though it didn’t turn out how we would have liked for some, we are super proud of all of them. Congrats to Myla on finishing second at 2 singles and earning a spot in the state tournament this Friday. Congrats to Isa, Raleigh and Cailin for earning state alternate honors.

The owls competed in the Comanche County Quad yesterday. It is a 4 team round robin tournament including the local schools: Mac, Ike, LHS, and Elgin. Both boys and girls teams came out on top. Next up is regionals.

The owls JV team dueled MacArthur this Tuesday. The girls went 4-0 and the boys went 1-3 in their matches.

The ms owls hosted the Elgin Owl JH Open today at the Earlywine Tennis Center. The owls played hard against some tough competition. It was good experience for everyone. Congrats to Gage on winning the 1 singles consolation championship.

The owls host the Elgin Owl Classic Tournament at the OKC tennis yesterday. It was a good day to be an owl. Both the boys and girls were tournament team champions.

The owls played in the Phil Barnes 5A champions tournament this Friday and Saturday . The tournament hosted 16 of the 32 5A schools. Everyone played hard and won and lost some tough matches. The girls placed 8th overall and the boys placed 6th. Congrats to Cailin and Raleigh for winning the consolation championships in 2 doubles and Jake and Kaiden for finishing 3rd in 1 doubles.

The owls middle school team dueled Anadarko this week. Everyone played hard. Congrats to our winners: Karaleigh and Lucy, Kingston and William, Gabe and Braydon, Colton and Braydon.
