Tonight, BJ Sigler’s hometown is lighting up their baseball diamonds to honor his life. We’re joining that tribute by lighting up Elizabethtown Sports Park, remembering a dear friend who meant so much to our baseball community.
For the past eight years, I had the privilege of working closely with BJ, USSSA Kentucky State Director and co-owner of Ohio Valley Sports Productions, to build great events and memorable experiences for families at the Elizabethtown Sports Park. He was an entrepreneur with a heart for something bigger than business. He was in baseball for the right reasons: to teach, encourage, and help young people grow through sports.
BJ’s sudden passing, far too young, leaves a tremendous void in our baseball family. I’m grateful for the years we shared, the things we built together, and the friendship that grew along the way. His legacy lives on in the young people he encouraged, the families he brought together, and the lives he touched.
Tonight, we honor the man and his legacy, while our thoughts and prayers are with BJ’s family and all who loved him.
These lights shine for you, BJ. You will be deeply missed, my friend.
