That was the fastest I have ever done that course!! 30 miles in an 1:17:15!! That is a 23.3 MPH average!! So excited!!

Yesterday was a very emotional day for me!! I never ever thought I would ever be able to clip onto my bike again after a 1 mile long swim, but yesterday I DID IT!! I was the last one out of the water but there wasn't a more proud inspired swimmer out there!! I had to stop and rest my arms several times because of the disease that has affected my arms!! I'm very slowly getting better and above all so excited to compete again!! I want to thank Karly for talking me into doing this race! And for her winning her age group!! So proud of you!! Yesterday for me was pure 100% ITL baby ITL!!


90 mile bike and a 15 mile run today in beautiful Coeur d'Alene Id!! Everybody have a safe but fun Cinco de Mayo weekend from ITL Training!!

[05/02/13]   About an hour away from riding what I like to call them the crazies!! It's 30 miles of riding as fast as you can!! Terrible time to come down with a cold, but I'm going to ride as hard as I can!! Not going to be my best that's for sure lol!!

How much water do you need to drink?? The average male need 3 liters (13 cups) and the average female need 2.2 liters (9 cups). Of course this varies with activity level and temperature. So grab your favorite water bottle and fill it up. As you can see your body needs it

[04/25/13]   If insurance companies would cover the cost of hiring a personal trainers to get healthy, how many of you would hire a personal trainer?? It's so sad that insurance companies don't cover personal training. So many issues could and would be solved if people had someone to help them get healthy!! Maybe on of these day that will happen

[04/21/13]   The last time I ran in the Spokane River Run was back in 2009. I did it in a time of 2:38 for 25k (15.4 miles) I have gone through so much since that date. I have made a commitment to myself that I was going to live my life to the fullest and get as strong and as healthy as I could get. Today I proved to myself I'm doing exactly that. Today I ran the 25K in 2:06. That is 32 minutes faster that my last time doing that race!! I am so excited and so proud of myself for sticking with a very difficult commitment with what I have gone through!! Now a glass (or two) of wine to celebrate :) I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend and are moving toward your dreams in life :)


Yesterday was a tough day on the bike!! Strong cross and head winds! Is anyone racing today?? Who is doing the Race for the cure?? Spokane RiverRun? New Orleans half iron (good luck Brian Maasch my first student I have ever taught is doing that race) good luck to all from ITL!!

[04/19/13]   3500 calories = 1lbs!! Yesterday I went for a walk. My calorie burn was about 100 calories a mile!! Summer is coming! Contact me to get in the best shape for the summer time fun!!

[04/18/13]   Gosh that was one of the toughest spin class I have ever taught!! Such a great group of people to ride with!! Tonight is the Fitness Fanatic ride! Tough day of training today!

[04/16/13]   Got off the bike today and heard the tragic news about the Boston marathon :( ITL's thoughts and prayers go out to the families and everyone effected by this terrible tragedy!

[04/14/13]   Today is a 15 mile run with Jarod Crooks!! I'm wearing my heart rate monitor today! I'm going to try and stay in zone three zone four today! To find out what that means just contact me!

[04/13/13]   All done!! I ran 10k in 43 minutes! I was 8th place over all out of a 100+ runners! So excited about that

[04/11/13]   Your first tip is nutrition!! Nutrition is huge. I will break down what is a good carbohydrate, protein, or fat on a future post!! 45% to 65% of your intake should be carbohydrates, 10% to 20% should be a protein, 20% to 30% from fat!!
