Our Novice program is the perfect entry point into competitive All-Star cheer, offering athletes a fun and supportive environment to learn stunts, tumbling, jumps, choreography, and teamwork—all with a half-season commitment that’s ideal for families new to competitive cheer.

Experience isn’t required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are.

✨ What Makes a Great Nebraska Force Novice Athlete? ✨

Not every athlete comes to Novice with cheer experience—and that’s okay! What makes a great Novice athlete isn’t years of training. It’s enthusiasm, coachability, and a willingness to learn.

✨ Novice is our half-season competitive All-Star cheer program and a great entry point for athletes who want to experience competitive cheer in a fun, supportive environment.

Novice may be a great fit if your athlete:

💃 Enjoys dance and choreography
🤸 Likes tumbling and learning new skills
❤️ Loves being active
👯 Enjoys being part of a team
🎯 Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn and take direction

No tryouts. No experience required.
