Amicalola Falls State Park is a 35 minute drive from Lightning Bug Lodge. It boasts many beautiful trails, from 425 steps down along side the 729 foot waterfall. Other activities include zip lining, fishing and camping. You can easily step onto the southern terminus of the 2,193 mile Appalachian Trail, a short walk from the Amicalola Lodge.
