10/24/2026 - Seekonk Speedway

It was the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Haunted 100, the last race of the season. The feature was actually 125 laps, 35 cars showed up vying for a spot in the 28 car field.

Steven drove the Casella Snow Plows and Roscoe Racing #25. He started the day out okay with a decent practice session (13th overall) but it went downhill from there. He qualified 24th, started his heat race 9th and finished 9th. This had him starting at the back of the field for the feature - 25th. Steven really struggled with the handling of the car for the majority of the race. He went a lap down a couple of times but got the Lucky Dog on the cautions and was able to stay on track. He pitted often and finally around lap 90 he began to make forward progress! Steven got to a high of 11th, ran hard in the tight field and crossed the finish line P15. Not the day we hoped for but it was enough to secure the 10th position for the season standings.

Tyler and the Les Hinckley Racing #06 had a much better day. Ty was 4th in practice and 11th in qualifying. For his heat race he started 4th and finished 4th. This had him lining up for the feature P11. He hovered around the 10th spot for the first 50 laps, then fell back four or five positions when the cars in front of him jammed up on a restart. He methodically made his way forward and broke into the top 5 with 18 laps to go. From there Ty got hooked up, taking second place with 5 laps to go! Unfortunately, the leader was too far ahead of him to catch in the time remaining, he crossed the finish line P2. Tyler ended up 7th in the year end standings.

We can’t thank Gary A Casella, Les Hinckley, and their crews enough for the amazing opportunity they gave us this year allowing us to run their cars. Good times, tough times, a whole lot of learning … and fun!

Thank you to the My Three Sons crew that helps whenever possible - Greg, Rick, Robby, Jason, Anthony, Matt, Mark, Kayla and Lindsey. As well as all those crew members who support us behind the scenes, and the people who cheer us on in the stands or from home - you are all so very much appreciated.

Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series -
26 cars, 75 laps

Steven ran the Casella Snow Plows and Roscoe Racing #25 Open Modified. He started the day pretty awesome, laid down the 5th fastest practice time in a rather stout field. Unfortunately, he did not qualify well and started the main event P14. He broke into the top ten pretty quickly and held it for a good chunk of time. Steven was 11th when he entered the pits for a competition caution at lap 40 and came out 16th. He spent the rest of the race fighting hard for position, pitting to try and improve his handling, slowly gaining a bit of ground. He crossed the finish line in 12th.

Tyler ran the #06 Les Hinckley Racing Open Modified. He too had a great practice time, 6th fastest. Ty did even better qualifying, he lined up for the feature P3. He ran there for the first 13 laps, then 4th for another 18. Tyler was in 6th when he entered the pits for the competition caution, he came out 7th. He did some great driving, getting a couple more spots as he fought to handle a car that was getting a bit loose. He took the checkered flag in 5th.

Many thanks to the car owners Gary A Casella and Les Hinckley for the opportunity to run this series. Thank you to your crews for all their hard work and support as well.

Thank you to our My Three Sons peeps - Gregg, Anthony, Matt, Jason, Robby, Randy, Chad, Kayla, Lindsey, Tommy, Scott, Erin, and Deb

Exciting Day!

Steven ran the My Three Sons Racing #14 Open Modified in the The Modified Racing Series MRS World Series event. Yes, our first run in a home owned/built open car!

He had 5 rounds of practice which was nice as it allowed for some good testing. His first practice best time was 20.062, got to a 19.301 in the fourth time out. Steven started on the pole for his heat race but wasn’t able to maintain the position, he methodically fell back and finished 6th. This had him lining up 18th in the 26 car field for the 50 lap feature event. He ran around that position, losing some and then gaining some, for the next 20 laps or so. Steven started to gain forward momentum after the first half of the race, he missed a huge wreck with 13 laps to go. He restarted 7th, there was a skirmish ahead of him and he lost a bunch of spots. Some hard fought laps had Steven picking off cars and he came home 10th. Not too bad - a top 10 for the first outing in the car!

Fall Final / Champions Night / Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series

It was scheduled to be a very busy day but rain came and there was a significant delay affecting the schedule.

Tyler ran his #41 SK Modified for the final time this season. He only got one practice, did well with the 3rd fastest time. Qualifying was cancelled because of the rain delay, the handicap had him starting P9 in a 24 car field. 3 laps into the 40 lap race, Ty got a flat tire. He luckily didn’t suffer any serious damage, he pitted and got a new tire without losing any laps. He rejoined the event at the rear and started to slowly pick off some positions. Lap 23 had a big wreck at the front of the field which Tyler was able to avoid, gaining quite a few spots. He continued to make forward progress, got into the top 10, crossed the finish line in 8th.

Steven ran the Casella Snow Plows and Roscoe Racing #25 Open Modified. The open practice was good, he laid down the 5th fastest time in the 29 car field. Group qualifying didn’t go as well, he slapped the wall and ended up 18th. Rain came and the heat races were cancelled, so 18th is where he started the 80 lap feature event. He looked good, passed some cars and ran most of the first half 13th. Just past the halfway point there was a pit stop, Steven gained a couple of spots, and ran the next 30 laps just outside the top 10. With a handful or so laps remaining, his power steering system went bad. The car was tough to handle as it didn’t let go completely, it was surging and making the driving quite challenging! He ended up finishing the race 18th.

Tyler ran the Les Hinckley Racing #06 Open Modified. His practice was okay, 6th fastest. He was 7th in the group qualifying and started the feature P9. Ty got into the top 5 quickly and looked good as he ran 4th for the majority of the first half of the race. He lost a couple spots on the lap 46 pit stop but stayed in the top 10. Tyler was running 7th with 10 laps to go when he spun after contact was made with the 8th place car. He pitted, swapped some tires and rejoined the field at the back. Unfortunately there weren’t enough laps left for him to make a lot of progress, he crossed the finish line 17th.

Thank you to Gary Casella and the entire #25 crew for the opportunity.

Thank you to Les Hinckley and his team, so grateful to be able to race.

Finally - a good run!

Tyler ran his #41 SK Modified. He was okay in the first practice, some positive adjustments were made and he clocked 2nd fastest in the last round. There was no qualifying due to the threat of rain. In fact, the crew was so sure the feature was going to get rained out that they started packing up only to have to scramble to get ready once they saw the weather was holding off!
Ty started the 40 lap main event P8 in a field of 24 cars. He broke into the top 5 on the first lap and soon found himself in 2nd. He took the lead at the halfway point. From there it was a nail-biter! There were cautions that led to many yellow flag laps - the track officials not only had clean up the incident but with the rain coming down lightly they needed to determine if the track was safe. Tyler had some fantastic restarts and held the lead through lap 29. The last ten laps he fought hard to regain the top spot. He tried to make a last lap pass, contact was made coming out of turn four, Ty was able to hang on and came across the line in third.
Very happy overall with the night, was good to be on the podium again!

Steven ran the Casella Snow Plows and Roscoe Racing #25 for The Modified Racing Series MRS event held in New Hampshire. It was a 75 lap event with 18 cars.

He got there early for extra practice and broke an oil line right away. The crew was able to fix it, Steven went back out and did really well considering he had only been at the track one other time for an open practice session. His positive practice performance had him lining up for the heat P2. Unfortunately, the outside lane is not the best place to be at that track, he finished 5th. This had him rolling out P13 for the feature. He gained a few spots and was in 10th when a caution came out at lap 12. Steven moved up to the 8th position by lap 30. By then the field had spread out and he stayed there for the duration of the race. A respectable finish, and it won Gary a bottle of wh***ey!

Steven felt very good in the car today, he learned a lot. Thank you to the entire #25 crew, and shoutout to Matt Swanson for the spotting and mentoring, so very much appreciated.

p.s. Thanks to Kayla for the photos and notes!
