First off, thanks
to everyone who played in the multi seasonal String Tournament this weekend!! (Whoever ticked off Mother Nature halfway thru, bad dog.)Team Mack took home honors with Ely Auto 1 taking second. Thanks to the Kwazy Wabbit for sponsoring and for Amy Anderson keeping well supplied with false warmth. As always, the staff at the Ely Golf Club nailed it!!! Next up we have the ever popular Colored ball tournament. This one fills up fast so get signed up!!!

Revision to our rental cart policy:

Due to course & cart damage we will be implementing the following changes to golf cart rental much like most other courses:

Anyone (including a member) who rents a cart will be signing the cart rental form.

No public cart rentals are available after 3:30pm at this time. This time will extend as our hours expand through the summer.

I can't believe it's already the first tournament of the season!!! This is always a crowd favorite!! We've had 80 degrees and 45 degrees, so take your chances and get signed up as it fills up fast!!

The Ely Golf Course is now closed for the winter. Thanks for your patronage this year and we'll see you in the spring!

(Sorry for the lateness of this post.) The 8th annual Soup Cup at the Ely Golf Club on Sept 6th was a great success!! We had a full field of 18 teams and pretty decent weather. Results: flight c-2nd Team Back 9 Bandits 1st-Who's ur caddy? Flight b-2nd Team Gentilini 1st-Northern Lights Detailing Flight A-2nd Teams Hirdler and Youngman decided to split after 4 playoff holes 1st-Team Heisel. Thanks to everyone who played and to our amazing grounds crew for making the course gorgeous, and our awesome clubhouse staff for taking such good care of everyone!! Also, thanks to Boundary Waters Catering for the great food!! I'm excited to say that next year's tournament will be a two day event, with teams being flighted after the first day. Thanks to everyone who supported all the tournaments throughout the season! We truly appreciate it!!
