The Killer Kare Bears. The Halloween tournament may have been snowed out but it didn’t stop the girls from having a good time!

Dear daughter:
Remember this feeling.
Remember this time when you were part of something special.
Remember when others cheered you on for doing your best despite the fact that they desperately wanted what you had.
Remember who carried you when you fell short, when you struggled, when you felt like you disappointed others.
This is what life is supposed to look like--supporting one another, holding each other up, screaming the loudest for someone else's success. Even when you weren't successful. Especially when you weren't as successful.
Remember that success is not a limited commodity. There is enough room at the top for all of us in our own unique ways.
Remember that someone else's journey can look different than your own, and that's not an affront to you.
Remember that you can set the tone for how others see victory, and you can set the tone for how others see defeat.
Always use competition to be your best self instead of how you judge yourself against others.
Always be gracious when you lose, but be even more gracious when you win.
Always know that you can't control what others do, but you can always control how you react to it.
And remember, dear daughter, that sometimes the fastest way to the top is by reaching back for the hand of the person behind you and pulling them up, too.
Remember this time. This is how life should look.
