814 Elite 8U 2017’s

814 Elite 8U’s had a great weekend competing at the Clash at the Castle tournament in Houston, PA. The team battled through four games, finishing 1-3, but the record doesn’t fully capture the effort, growth, and energy the girls brought to the field. Throughout the weekend, they showed strong teamwork, determination, and a willingness to keep improving with every inning.
While we faced some tough competition, each game provided valuable learning experiences that will help us continue to grow as a team. The girls supported one another, stayed positive, and most importantly, had fun doing what they love.
We’re proud of how they competed and represented 814 Elite, and we’re excited to carry these lessons forward as we head into the rest of our summer tournament schedule. Bright things are ahead for this group! 💙💚🥎

The girls had a scrimmage against the Highlanders and OVL this afternoon! We won both games and are looking forward to our first tournament next weekend—Clash at the Castle in Houston, Pa! 🥎

We had a blast at the Union City Pumpkin Smash Tournament this weekend! We finished the tournament in 2nd place! These girls played great over the past couple weekends! We finished our fall season with a 6-1 record. Big things are happening and we’re going to be working hard in our off season to develop into a dominant program for the spring and summer! Great work ladies!

We finished day 1 of the UC Pumpkin Smash Tournament going 2-0 against the Lady Highlanders and Corry Posse! Overall, the girls played great offensively and defensively! Maeson, Raeghan and Addy each had a home run this morning! 🔥🔥 We’re looking to bracket play tomorrow! 🥎💙💚

814 Elite 8U easily dispatched Lady Highlanders 8U on Saturday at 8 First Ave, 15-0.

814 Elite 8U got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Riley B doubled to center field, Maeson C singled to right field, Ainsley K singled to right field, Adelyn N singled to right field, and Bettie N singled to left field, each scoring one run.

814 Elite 8U scored five runs on six hits in the bottom of the second inning. Evelyn E singled, scoring two runs, Riley singled, scoring one run, and Maeson tripled, scoring two runs.

814 Elite 8U scored five runs on seven hits in the bottom of the third inning. Adelyn singled, scoring one run, Bettie doubled, scoring two runs, Madisyn P singled, scoring one run, and Macie L singled, scoring one run.

Adalyn K stepped in the circle first for Lady Highlanders 8U. The starter allowed 20 hits and 15 runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none.

814 Elite 8U collected 20 hits in the game. Ainsley, Maeson, Quinn P, Adelyn, Riley, Bettie, Macie, and Madisyn each collected two hits for 814 Elite 8U. Maeson and Bettie each drove in three runs for 814 Elite 8U.

Harper H led Lady Highlanders 8U with two hits in two at bats. Lady Highlanders 8U didn't commit a single error in the field. Zoey R had the most chances in the field with one.

814 Elite 8U will travel to Corry Posse 8U for their next game on Saturday.

814 Elite 8U won big over Corry Posse 8U 17-5 on Saturday at 8 First Ave.

814 Elite 8U jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Raeghan V hit a solo home run to center field, Maeson C doubled, scoring two runs, Quinn P doubled, scoring one run, and Adelyn N singled, scoring one run.

814 Elite 8U extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI ground outs by Hayden S and Macie L.

814 Elite 8U scored five runs on six hits in the top of the third inning. Maeson doubled, scoring one run, Quinn singled, scoring one run, Ainsley K singled, scoring one run, and Adelyn doubled, scoring two runs.

814 Elite 8U scored five runs on seven hits in the top of the fourth inning. Hayden doubled, scoring two runs, Raeghan singled, scoring one run, and Riley B singled, scoring two runs.

Hadley H opened the game for Corry Posse 8U. The right-handed pitcher surrendered 22 hits and 17 runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking none.

814 Elite 8U accumulated 22 hits in the game. Leila K and Riley were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for 814 Elite 8U. Maeson, Hayden, and Adelyn each drove in three runs for 814 Elite 8U. Raeghan, Ainsley, Quinn, Bettie N, and Madisyn P each collected multiple hits for 814 Elite 8U.

Corry Posse 8U piled up 11 hits in the game. Esmay M, Laikan B, and Gatlynn V each collected two hits for Corry Posse 8U. Laikan and Gatlynn each drove in two runs for Corry Posse 8U. Corry Posse 8U were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Lena J made the most plays with one.

So proud of what these girls accomplished today! They went 3-0 earlier today in our first fall outting! Lots of great things happening!! Looking forward to the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Smash tournament next weekend in Union City! Great job today ladies! 💙💚🥎
