Really proud of this group after a strong tournament weekend going 4–2 and finishing second. A week removed now, it’s even clearer how much growth showed up over the course of the tournament. After a tough loss earlier in the weekend, the players responded the right way — they stayed together, kept working, and found a way to battle back all the way to the championship game, coming up just one goal short - but it wasn't for a lack of effort.

What stood out most was the effort and teamwork. They played for each other, competed every shift, and earned their success by outworking teams all weekend. That’s what chop wood, carry water looks like — focusing on the little things, controlling what you can, and trusting the process. We’ll take the lessons, keep our heads down, and get back to work.

Four players were recognized with our Chop Wood, Carry Water Player of the Game award for the work they put in to help the team succeed.

Next tournament will be Washington, DC in February - Let's Go Otters!!
