The Kenny Griego Ball Park and Walking track is ready for use! Get out and enjoy this beautiful weather and have some fun with the family!! Thanks to the Parks & Recreation Staff along with building maintenance staff for all their hard work!!

Attention Residents of Dixon,

The Kenny Griego baseball field has become a location for destruction by some individuals. People are going and having private parties with alcohol and open fires, while also destroying bleachers and other property at the field. The County Parks & Recreation Department does not allow alcohol nor drugs to be used at any of our facilities nor does it allow for private parties which have alcohol or drugs along with illegal fires to be used. Residents are urged to be vigilant and contact local law enforcement right away if they see any suspicious activity. On a positive note crews have been working hard to clean the area up, and we hope the residents take advantage of the beautiful weather and go enjoy this facility! Thank you!

The County Parks & Recreation Department along with the Building Maintenance Staff work diligently on keeping all the County owned Parks and Community facilities as clean as possible. Unfortunately because of the amount of moisture we have received this year weed control has been a little more difficult to keep up with, but rest assured that we do our best to keep up with all the facilities from Lindrith to Chimayo to Alcalde to San Pedro to Abiquiú and so on and so forth. We do ask if anyone visits our parks and sees some trash thrown on the ground please assist us and pick it up. These are everyone’s Parks Thank you for your patience and understanding.
